A war that had ravaged & cursed the land for 26 years had finally come to an end.
On the 20th of May 2009,
the big guns of the Sri Lankan armed forces was fired for the last time.
It was a historic moment. Hope is now in the air for a new era of peace & prosperity for Sri Lanka.
